On February 18-19, 2017, the Robinson Rifle team participated in a virtual Junior Olympic qualifier match in conjunction with the Potomac High School Rifle League championship.

The Robinson Gold Team took third place in the Precision Division, earning bronze medals. Congratulations to our Robinson Gold team of: Max Brabston, Emily Fisher, Jamie McCarty, and Jack Curry, who fired a team score of 2296.

Jamie McCarty’s 574 was 13th among individuals, and Jack Curry’s 560 was equally important to both our 25 point margin over today’s 4th place team, and yesterday’s 1 point victory in our high school league championship.

Many of our teammates earned Excellence in Competition (EIC) pins, with valuable CMP Cup match points toward their high school career goal of Distinguished Marksman.
