More Rifle Camp Reports, July 2017

Robinson Rifle sent student athletes to two Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) camps on July 24-28, 2017 and the results were impressive!

Anniston CMP Camp July 24-28, 2017

Kat and Dillon McGrail, Jack Kersey and Jack Curry all participated in the CMP Camp in Anniston, AL. Dillon finished with a 460 (15th place) and is well on his way to obtaining his Letter, Kat finished with a 488 (12th place), Jack Kersey with a 557 (6th place), and Jack Curry finished with a 573 (3rd place). Both Jack Kersey and Jack Curry made it into the finals with Jack Kersey finishing 5th and Jack Curry finishing 4th. Additionally, Jack Curry won the Guts match.

 


Annapolis CMP Camp, July 24-28, 2017

Filling 11 of 33 precision slots at the CMP 3P Camp in Annapolis this past week, our Robinson Rifle athletes excelled, with 7 of our athletes earning personal bests. This included Riley Blackburn, who earned his varsity letter. Way to go, Riley!

Grace Cason was among our athletes who garnered 5 of the top 10 spots in the EIC Cup Match at the end of camp, including 4 of the 8 slots in the finals, where Robinson finished 1-2-4-5. Earning Gold was Emily Fisher, while Jacob Bzdafka earned Silver. They were followed by Stefan Arseneau and Alison Chapman.

Emily also earned 4 EIC points towards her HS career goal of Junior Distinguished Shooter!

Earlier in the week, Jacob Bzdafka won top honors in the Guts Match. Congratulations to all our athletes for a week of hard work, with excellent results.
