Recap – Robinson wins 8th victory, so far undefeated. The Robinson Rifle Team wons against Washington and Lee last night with a score of 1156 to 1071.

Top shooters were senior Zach Eisenberg with a 293/300, senior Nick Kanellis with a 291/300, junior Jamie McCarty with a 288/300, senior Keegan Miller with a score of 287/300, senior Scarlett Stallings with a score of 285/300, sophomore Emily Fisher with a score of 277/300, and senior Dalton Gustafson with a score of 270/300. Congratulations and keep up the good shooting Robinson Rifle!

Robinson continues their undefeated HS season with win #7. Robinson wins against St. Johns with a score of 1145 to 1091. Senior Nick Kanellis scored a 290/300, senior Zach Eisenberg scored a 289/300, senior Hayley Carroll scored a 287/300, sophomore Emily Fisher scored a 283/300 and senior Keegan Miller scored a 279/300. Great job team!

The Robinson Rifle Team beat Yorktown with a score of 1143 to 1020, making this their 6th win in a row this season.

The Robinson Team was lead by seniors Hayley Carroll and Nick Kanellis, who both put up scores of 291/300, senior Keegan Miller with a 282/300, sophomore Rayaan Khan with a 279/300, and sophomore Emily Fisher with a 276/300.

ROBINSON RIFLE WINS 5 IN A ROW

Recap (1/14/2016) – Robinson Rifle Team beat a tough W.T. Woodson team with a score of 1154 to 1142, making this their 5th win in a row this season.

The Robinson Team had some great scores this match, including senior Zach Eisenberg with a 293/300, senior Nick Kanellis with a 290/300, senior Hayley Carroll with a 289/300, senior Scarlett Stallings with a 282/300, and senior Keegan Miller with a 281/300.

Other scores of note were junior Jamie McCarty with a 283/300, sophomore Emily Fisher with a 283/300 and junior Max Brabston with a 277/300.

Congratulations team on your first five wins of the season. Keep up the great scores!

Robinson shooters came on strong against a tough West Potomac team to win their 4th match in a row.

Robinson won with a score of 1153 to West Potomac’s 1095. Robinson top team scores included senior Zachary Eisenberg with a 290/300, senior Nick Kanellis with a 289/300. senior Haley Carroll with a 288/300,senior Scarlett Stallings with a 278/300, and senior Keegan Miller with a score of 286/300. Congrats to all the shooters for our 4th win in a row!

The Robinson Rifle team wins its second High School match of the season against Wakefield 1154 to 859.
The Rams were led by senior Hayley Carroll, 292/300, senior Zach Eisenberg, 290/300, senior Nick Kanellis, 289/300, and senior Keegan Miller, 283/300.

The Robinson Rifle team wins their 3rd match against West Springfield. Robinson won with a score of 1163 to 1116. Robinson top team scores included seniors Zachary Eisenberg and Hayley Carroll, both with great 296/300 scores. senior Nick Kanellis with a 288/300. senior Scarlett Stallings with a 283/300, and senior Keegan Miller with a score of 282/300. The coaches are looking in to whether we tied individual Robinson team records with this great shooting!

The Robinson Rifle Team qualifies for the Army Marksmanship Unit Precision Sectional Match! After coming in 5th in the overall field of national teams and also being the AMU state champions, our team will be travelling to the AMU finals at Ft. Benning, GA to compete in the finals tournament. Congrats to all for a great placement in this tough competition. You can see all the scores at this link. Congrats Robinson shooters!

The Robinson Rifle Team excelled at the Bob Long Classic competition this year. Congratulations to our five teams that finished in the top seven places: first place, Elena and Zach; third place, Jennifer and Emily; fifth place, David and Scarlett; sixth place, Nick A. and Jason; and seventh place, Erik and Keegan.

In the Rookie category, our Jennifer, (with no experience), was second with 385; and fifth, sixth, and seventh, in order, were our David Linkl, 370; Elena Lee, 370; and Nick Angelides, 369 out of 400 posible points.

And congratulations to Zach, 386; Hayley, 384; and Nick K., 383 for taking the first three places and winning the Veterans group. Keegan placed fifth with a 369 and Scarlett seventh with a 360; Jamie 358; Jason 353; Emily 353, Dalton 352, and Jack Curry 344 out of 400 possible points. Many more of our veterans also shot well.

The Robinson Rifle team wons its first High School match of the season against Landon with a strong showing of 1129 to 992.

The Rams were led by senior Nick Kanellis, 288/300, senior Scarlett Stallings, 284/300, senior Keegan Miller, 279/300, and junior Jamie McCarty, 278/300.

Congratulations to the whole team for the first win of the season.

This weekend, some of the Robinson Rifle Team competed in a USA Shooting/CMP sanctioned match in Virginia Beach.

The results:
Zach Eisenberg came in first place in the CMP Cup 3×20 Air Rifle competition with a 582/600 and Haley Carroll came in third with a 579/600.
Haley Carroll came in second place in the womens 40 Standing Air Rifle match with a 392/400.
Zach Eisenberg came in first with a 577/600 and Nick Kanellis comes in third with a 567/600 in the mens 60 Standing Air Rifle match.

And the team of Zach Eisenberg Haley Carroll, Nick Kannellis, and Jamie McCarty came in first place overall in the CMP match.
