Three Robinson Rifle Seniors Picked Up for College Rifle Teams

In a rare and unique year for the Robinson Rifle team, three of the 2015-2016 team seniors are recruited by colleges to compete on their Rifle Team!

Hayley Carroll Ole Miss RifleHayley Carroll was picked up to join the Ole Miss Rifle team. She had a stellar year as one of the varsity members of the undefeated Robinson Rifle team in 2015-2016, to include qualifying to compete in the 2016 Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs and receiving the Top Shot award in Air Rifle for the team. Zach Eisenberg CollegeZach Eisenberg was picked up to join the NC State Rifle team. He had a great year as one of the varsity members of the undefeated Robinson Rifle team in 2015-2016, to include qualifying to compete in the 2016 Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs and receiving the Top Shot award in Smallbore Rifle for the team. Nick Kanellis CollageNick Kanellis was picked up to join the U.S. Military Academy at West Point’s Rifle team. He excelled this year as one of the varsity members of the undefeated Robinson Rifle team in 2015-2016, to include qualifying to compete in the 2016 Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs in both Air and Smallbore. Congratulations Nick and great luck competing for such an honorable school.

Congratulations to all three of our seniors for dedicating the last four years to building their shooting skills on the Robinson Rifle team and accomplishing the next step on the path of competitive rifle by going on to compete at the college level. You will be able to follow their success on the college Rifle Team pages in the future.

Robinson Caps Undefeated Season with a Regionals Record Breaker

Regional Champions 2016Robinson Rifle Team sweeps the season with a win at regionals that not only caps an undefeated season, but also broke the previous regional record. With a team score of 2328, Robinson won the regional tournament and beat the previous 60 shot regional record of 2306.

Top shooters for the team were senior Hayley Carroll with 590/600, senior Nick Kanellis with a 588/600 and senior Zach Eisenberg with a 579/600 and senior Keegan Miller with a 571/600. What an amazing season Robinson Rifle. Congratulations on an amazing season!

Robinson Rifle Goes Undefeated for the Season

Robinson Rifle goes undefeated with win #10 for the season. Robinson beat a tough Mavericks team to squeak out win #10 in the PHSRL season final match with a score of 1167 to 1156.

Top shooters for Robinson were senior Hayley Carroll with 294/300, senior Nick Kanellis with a 294/300, senior Zach Eisenberg with a 291/300, senior Keegan Miller with a 288/300, and junior Jamie McCarty with a 287/300.

Congratulations Robinson Rifle for an undefeated season. Now onto Regionals!

Shooters standingRobinson continues their undefeated HS season with win #7. Robinson wins against St. Johns with a score of 1145 to 1091. Senior Nick Kanellis scored a 290/300, senior Zach Eisenberg scored a 289/300, senior Hayley Carroll scored a 287/300, sophomore Emily Fisher scored a 283/300 and senior Keegan Miller scored a 279/300. Robinson Rifle Wins its 6th Match

Aim down gunThe Robinson Rifle Team beat Yorktown with a score of 1143 to 1020, making this their 6th win in a row this season.

The Robinson Team was lead by seniors Hayley Carroll and Nick Kanellis, who both put up scores of 291/300, senior Keegan Miller with a 282/300, sophomore Rayaan Khan with a 279/300, and sophomore Emily Fisher with a 276/300.

ROBINSON RIFLE WINS 5 IN A ROW

Recap (1/14/2016) – Robinson Rifle Team beat a tough W.T. Woodson team with a score of 1154 to 1142, making this their 5th win in a row this season.

The Robinson Team had some great scores this match, including senior Zach Eisenberg with a 293/300, senior Nick Kanellis with a 290/300, senior Hayley Carroll with a 289/300, senior Scarlett Stallings with a 282/300, and senior Keegan Miller with a 281/300.

Other scores of note were junior Jamie McCarty with a 283/300, sophomore Emily Fisher with a 283/300 and junior Max Brabston with a 277/300.

Congratulations team on your first five wins of the season. Keep up the great scores!

Robinson won with a score of 1153 to West Potomac’s 1095. Robinson top team scores included senior Zachary Eisenberg with a 290/300, senior Nick Kanellis with a 289/300. senior Haley Carroll with a 288/300,senior Scarlett Stallings with a 278/300, and senior Keegan Miller with a score of 286/300.
