Practice Schedule

The rifle team, both smallbore and air rifle, practice every Saturday morning year round at the NRA Headquarters Shooting Range in Fairfax, Virginia. Practice begins at 6:30 a.m. and finishes at about 8:30 a.m. Additionally, air rifle shooters practice at the Izaak Walton League's Arlington-Fairfax chapter on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. Air rifle shooters may choose to participate in either practice.

The NRA facility is located at 11250 Waples Mill Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030.

The Izaak Walton League is located at 14708 Mount Olive Road, Centreville.
Directions: From I-495 (Capital Beltway) take I-66 west. Take Exit 53A onto Route 28 southbound. Take Route 28 south to Compton Road. Turn right at the traffic light onto Compton Road. Follow Compton Road to the intersection with Mount Olive Road. Turn right onto Mount Olive Road. After approximately one-tenth of a mile turn left into the entrance of the Arlington-Fairfax Chapter.
